DJ and producer Tai Woffinden is on track to break out onto the global electronic dance scene with the same full-throttle approach that has ignited a x3 world champion title as a professional speedway racer. Reconnecting with his raving youth, Tai channels raw dancefloor energy into his club-ready cuts including latest single ‘Feeling Super Naughty’ with CERES, the producer’s second release on Armada Music.

We jump behind the decks with Tai Woffinden to find out more.

Tai! Thanks for talking with us today. Which part of the world are you chatting from and how has your day been so far?

Hey! No problem at all, thanks for having me. Right now, I’m back in Perth, Western Australia, where I spend the summer every year.

‘Feeling Super Naughty’ is your new drop on Armada Music which sees you pair up with CERES. Tell us about how the track came to be?

Ahh yeah well it was actually quite simple to be honest. I jumped online and was listening to her vocal pack and I thought that topline was great and had something about it so I made a demo, sent it to her and she said she loved it and wanted it on her profile. So I was pretty happy with how it all went to be honest.

The video for ‘Feeling Super Naughty’ looks like a pretty wild night out. Is that always the energy at your parties?

Haha yeah…this was one of the events that I ran this summer in the UK. It was a sold-out show of 1200 people in just a week and a half of announcing so I was stoked about that and it was a really fun night. I’ll be doing some more events like that when I’m back in Europe next summer for sure.

How do you usually prepare for a DJ gig?

I’m pretty chill to be fair. I roll in early to make sure the set-up is sweet and all is under control. I only one drink before my set, and one during, then after we can send it!

On a technical sense and/or stylistic, who are some DJs that you admire and what makes them stand out to you?

Will Sparks first off. I love his sound and the energy he brings to his performances is fire.

I’m a big fan of Maddix’s sound also. I was recently at his all-day rave at ADE in Warehouse7 and what a day that was!

What’s one track in your USB that you know will get a huge crowd reaction every time?

Good question and it depends I guess what county you’re in, but for me, my track ‘Body’ with Gabry Ponte gets the heads turning. I normally run this track at 145bpm just to give it that little bit more energy.

If you could go back-to-back with any DJ(s) in the world, who would you pick and why?

I think Timmy Trumpet would be a fun one, but honestly, I would love to do a B2B with anyone that’s down for it. It’s not about who it is, but the memories collected along the way.

What are your bucket list venues/festivals to play at as a DJ?

All of them! I wanna make it to the top so there is no limitation from my side

We can see on socials that you’re not long back from Amsterdam Dance Event! How was the trip? Would you recommend to other DJ/producers?

ADE was great! I met so many people and made some great connections so I would 100% recommend it to anyone in the scene! It’s all about networking, opening doors, and creating opportunities and ADE is the perfect chance to do that.

What’s in store for your final months of 2025?

I’m hoping to start working with an Australian-based booking agent in the coming weeks. I’ve locked in a set in the Vault Perth in December followed by YOU&ME festival on the 30th. Nothing too crazy planned for November, but December is a super busy time for us as a family so it will be nice to have some down time ahead of the chaos.

Tai Woffinden x CERES ‘Feeling Super Naughty’ is out now on Armada Music.
