Berlin dance-pop duo twocolors launch 2025 with anthemic single ‘Under My Skin’

‘UMS’ (‘Under My Skin’), the latest single from dance-pop duo twocolors, featuring vocals from BARBZ, releases on January 10th via Virgin Records.
Following the success of their hit singles ‘Cynical’ (4 weeks at #1 on German APC), ‘Heavy Metal Love,’ and ‘Lovefool,’ Berlin’s twocolors blend techno and trance influences into a euphoric rave anthem with ‘UMS,’ featuring the infectious, pop-tinged vocals of upcoming Greek-American singer-songwriter BARBZ. The track originated after a chance encounter with Jimmy Pop, the frontman of the band Bloodhound Gang, at ADE 2023. “We are huge fans and have always loved Bloodhound Gang’s music growing up. It turns out Jimmy’s a fan of our music too and he loved the idea of us reimagining one of their tracks. Now, here we are paying tribute!” With Jimmy’s enthusiastic blessing and regular oversight, twocolors revived the band’s 2005 hit ‘Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss Uhn Tiss’ with a modern dance flavour. The result, ‘UMS,’ has already made a huge impact at festivals, with fans immediately attaching to its infectious lyrics.
