Rise Festival Drops 10th Anniversary Aftermovie
Rise Festival, the world’s biggest independent ski festival, has revealed the aftermovie from its December event when it celebrated 10 years as the party on top of the world. Featuring epic mountain scenes and jumping crowds that’ll leave the viewer wishing they were there, the high quality Rise 2024 aftermovie perfectly encapsulates the special energy that was its 10th birthday. Watch it now on YouTube or Instagram.
Taking place at the picturesque resort of Les 2 Alpes in the French Alps from 7-14 December, the 10th anniversary was an all-out ball, attracting 7,000 snow ravers from 60 countries worldwide.
Amongst so much more, the aftermovie recaps momentous moments including JOY (Anonymous) tearing the roof off the Muzelle stage, crowds going wild to sets by Badger and Oppidan 2,600m up the mountain, and the raucous energy of headline sets from Chase & Status, Gorgon City and Sammy Virji. Added to daring stunts from the pros at Dope Snow, the camaraderie of festival goers, and incredible drone footage, it’s clear that Rise Festival 2024 will be remembered long after the snow melts.
Festival Director, Jamie Thomson said,
“This was easily our best year ever, and I don’t use that lightly. There was a magical feeling around the festival, between all the incredible performances and secret sets, the vibe was unmatched. We could really feel the energy as a team. It’s going to be a tough year to beat, but the challenge has been accepted and we are READY! We’ve already got a few things in the pipeline… watch this space – the next 10 years are going to be epic.”
Rise Festival would like to give special thanks to the UK film production company DGTL Concepts for the creation of this aftermovie.
