Juliet Fox drops euphoric hard techno single, “Miss U”

Juliet Fox’s new single, Miss U, is a hard techno track that’s laced with euphoria.

Firmly asserting herself as one of techno’s most consistent DJs and producers, Juliet Fox is a whirlwind of creativity, maintaining a non-stop release schedule. This single is out on her own record label, TREGAMBE, but her music can also be heard on Armada, Drumcode, Mood, OFF Recordings, Second State, and many others.

The music she makes is a by-product of her successful DJ career, as she is a master dance-floor manipulator who plays headline shows across the globe.

“Miss U” reminds us that Juliet Fox is also a raver herself, as in a statement, she tells us that the track is inspired by techno’s afterparty culture. She said: “Miss U is the comedown wrapped in melody — the last glow of the night, the first light of morning, and the ache of missing what slipped away. It’s a track for the ravers who stay up when the night ends, a pulsing memory of connection, loss and the glow that lingers after the rush.”

The track’s acid-tinged bassline and hammering kick drum underscore the timeless sound of the arpeggio lead. The main vocal talks about friends sitting in someone’s house after a night of raving, and there is also a muffled vocal loop, which feels replicant of the background conversations at an after party. After the spine-tingling euphoria of the breakdown comes the sweeping rave sirens, embodying the searing energy of a packed club floor.
