– How did you begin with music and DJing?
DJing came before production for me, but music itself started much earlier. I was eleven when I formed my first band as a drummer, and that’s when music stopped being something I did for fun and started becoming something I was. The real shift from hobby to identity happened once I began touring and getting noticed locally — it created a sense of responsibility to the craft, not just excitement around it.
NASTĒ represents a clean break from my previous project. It’s the first brand I’ve built intentionally from the ground up, aimed at a completely new audience without leaning on past momentum. It’s about precision, clarity, and building something that can grow on its own terms.
– With which labels and artists have you worked?
I’ve released music through labels including G Mafia Records, Raticle, High Vibe Music, LFTD Global, and Berlin Fever Records. Along the way I’ve shared stages with artists such as Paul Oakenfold, Too $hort, and Twista, performing in spaces such as Ushuaïa Ibiza, Drai’s Las Vegas, and Rooftop New York. Those environments taught me a lot about scale, intention, and how energy moves through a room when it’s done right.
– Any new releases?
Yes — there’s a steady rollout coming: My Mind EP — February 19 Obsess — March 21 Hypnotize — April 22 The sonic direction is high-energy groove: music designed to move people physically and mentally, with a focus on tension, release, and momentum.
– In the studio, what’s your setup?
My setup is intentionally lean and mobile: a MacBook, a Focusrite Scarlett interface, Sennheiser headphones, Logic Pro, and the Kontakt instrument library. I produce all over the world. Sometimes that means sketching a single verse in a short window; other times it means finishing an entire track in one sitting. I like allowing the environment to shape the process.
– Which DAW do you use to produce music?
Logic Pro. It’s what I learned on, and at this point it’s pure muscle memory. Speed matters more than novelty.
– What is an ordinary day like for you?
I’m a morning person, and I work in cycles. Most days are split between running businesses and managing my music — both feed each other creatively. A non-obvious habit for me is actively finding sanity: creating space to stay grounded is just as important as output.
– What do you think sets DJing apart from other performing arts?
DJing is the honor and responsibility of influencing the energy of a room in real time. It’s storytelling, but on a cellular level. You’re not just performing — you’re directing emotion, movement, and shared experience. Nothing else really compares to that immediacy.
