Møønz is a talented techno artist from Belgium whose new EP, Matrix, includes two full-throttle tracks.
Combining fast-paced rhythms and industrial tones, Møønz style takes old-school sounds, and blends them with new-school ideas.
The release is on Clif Jack’s record label, MJA the Vision, which has become a breeding ground for fresh talent.
This is Møønz’s debut release on MJA the Vision, but his music can also be heard on other imprints such as Existence Limited, FURIOUS MOTHER, and HAUTBOXx Records.
First up, “Matrix” is a swirling techno track with a building arpeggio wrapped in raw percussion. Next up, “Phase” has different sections, moving from an industrial intro into a hypnotic breakdown, then a brief euphoric section towards the end.
Both of the tracks have a stand out sound that’s ideal for peak time moments on a dance floor.
