Liverpool producer RILEY returns with ‘Falling Deep’, a two-track release landing on 26th March via his RLY imprint.
Featuring vocalist Sophia Fernandes, ‘Falling Deep’ explores two sides of the same idea. On one hand, it looks forward through contemporary underground House. On the other, it reconnects with the deeper and slower sound that shaped dancefloors in the early 2010s.
A forward-facing cut built for modern dancefloors
The original version, ‘Falling Deep (feat. Sophia Fernandes)’, sits firmly within RILEY’s current sonic identity.
It is built around hypnotic rhythm, physical low end and a tightly controlled groove. As a result, the track moves with steady momentum rather than obvious peaks. Fernandes’ vocal sits at the centre of the arrangement. It adds emotional weight while leaving space for the rhythm section to breathe.
