With his first release on Smash The House channels, Yves Larock aims to impress alongside fellow Swiss DJ act TicTacTec with some cool, groovy deep house rhythms. Complete with choppy, euphoric vocal sample and even some squelchy 303 synthlines, ‘Dynamo’ is a dive in to the serene and rhythmic world of deep house. As the synth and bass lines gradually build, Larock and TicTacTec show their musical prowess by seamlessly integrating their individual production styles in to a cohesive and, above all, musically vivid piece of music. A great indication of what’s to come from both acts!
Yves Larock is not a new name in this industry, the Swiss producer first captured the hearts of ravers in 2005 with his groove-ridden summer anthem ‘Zookey’. It was this song that initially put Larock on the map, however it was his 2007 follow up release ‘Rise Up’ that really took all the plaudits and catapulted Larock in to the wider EDM scene. Distributed in over 45 countries with a staggering 20 #1 official chart positions worldwide, the track established him as one of the most exciting emerging house producers. For Yves Larock, the past few years have been dedicated to more behind-the-scenes ventures, including creating compositions for high-end brand advertisement campaigns as well as self-releasing on his own label founded in 2010, Millia Records.
