VIKTHOR drops powerful new techno EP ‘All Together’

VIKTHOR is a techno artist who has spent many years building a respected reputation as both a DJ and producer. 2023 has been another busy year of releases as he has contributed tracks and remixes to labels ranging from Bush Records to his own imprint VKT. Bringing the exciting year to a close, VIKTHOR’s newest EP is on Clif Jack’s new record label MJA the Vision.

Clif Jack also had a busy last 12 months including a debut on Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth on Acid, but he still found time to launch his own record label. He launched the record label with two of his own tracks, and after a successful debut from the imprint, VIKTHOR is continuing to grow the label’s momentum.

“All Together” is the name of the two-track EP which opens with the title track, and it’s a driving slice of techno with an uplifting atmosphere and hypnotic rhythms. Taking its title from the breakdown’s trippy vocal sample, the percussion gives it an upbeat energy.

“Feel Alive” is second on the release, and this is a melodic techno track in a style similar to other artists like Stephan Bodzin, but it still has hard-hitting drum sounds that give it a peak time energy. Its dramatic stabs and flutters of melody play call and response with an array of ambient textures that add to the ominous atmosphere.
