HUTS DELIVERS THE NEW HIT
OF THE SPRING WITH “KILL MY
LONELY” ON VIRGIN RECORDS
Loneliness never sounded so alluring as the latest from this rising Dutch DJ duo.
Rising duo HUTS out of the Netherlands gives us a fresh EDM-pop track “Kill My Lonely,” out March 11th on Virgin Records.
Since launching their debut single “Falling” in late February 2020, HUTS has been making moves in the international music scene and has already accumulated 75+ million streams to date, with more than 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Notably, they have been featured on the cover of Europe’s biggest dance editorial playlist Main Stage and charted in the Viral 50 – Netherlands, Viral 50 – India and Viral 50 – Austria for weeks. HUTS is comprised of Jordan Jay, who made a name for himself in the Future House scene (signing on Don Diablo’s HEXAGON, Spinnin’, Universal and with collaborations with the likes of Breathe Carolina and The Him), and Stijn (IDETTO), who has been actively doing production work for big-name DJs in the industry. Well poised for mass-radio and club consumption, “Kill My Lonely” is a super catchy and danceable track with sexy synths and ethereal vocals, easily HUTS’ most commercial release since “Gold On My Skin.” “Virgin sent us a topline written by Scandinavian writers and we knew exactly what to make of it so we produced it in just one or two days,” the producers said. The track was written by Jordi Coenradie, Stijn Kouwenhoven, Isabelle Zikai Gbotto Carlsson, Florian Kiermeier, Christian Neander and Andrew Douglas Tyler.
