For Aurory, his interest in the genre, its sounds, energy, and diverse landscape, started young. At just twelve years of age, he began experimenting, playing and discovering his own creative capacities with DJ equipment, expanding on ideas and developing his approach. Having remained curious ever since, Aurory sustains confidence in the art of experimentation – allowing his creative instincts to guide him, he strives for authenticity in his work, retaining an importance on sound design to encourage fresh ideas and innovation. As he continues to develop his signature style, he stays rooted in the world of Melodic Techno yet works to introduce both analogue and digital synths in a way that feels unique; blending hypnotic textures and tightly-controlled grooves, his productions reflect a desire to push his own creativity forward and defy the expectations of both the genre and his listeners.
In a live setting, Aurory moves beyond the traditional DJ setup; his performances extend past the music alone, striving for a fully immersive experience where the visual dimension carries equal weight to the sound. Building on this concept, he founded his Milan-based event series Lucentia, where light and sound are integrated to enhance the dancefloor setting and overall crowd experience.
