Best of British Dance Music to be celebrated during ‘Live At The Palace’ over May Bank Holiday Weekend

Ministry of Sound Classical, Groove Armada, The Shapeshifters, Dave Lee ZR, Ashley Beedle, Tall Paul, and more to feature

Live At The Palace will become the beating heart of the May Bank Holiday with an electrifying concert series featuring some of the most prominent and internationally acclaimed DJs in the electronic dance music scene.

On Saturday 27th May it will be a Ministry of Sound Classical takeover complete with a 32-piece orchestra performing iconic dance classics, completely rearranged and reinterpreted for the 2020s that will have everyone on their feet. Special guests will include The Shapeshifters who have captivated fans for over two decades with their soulful and melodious hits including 2004 classic “Lola’s Theme”. UK Music scene stalwart, Tall Paul, joins the line up bringing his high-octane sets and vivacious energy to the palace and Wrexham’s finest house DJs K-Klass who have worked with everyone from Janet Jackson, Whitney Houston and Madonna will be transporting everyone back to the dancefloor of Hacienda. Finally, Seamus Haji, DJ, producer and remixer supreme, responsible for some of house music’s most memorable tunes and clublands most unforgettable nights is sure to make Live At The Palace a night to remember.

On Sunday 28th May the titanic electronic duo Groove Armada whose megahits include ‘Superstylin’ and ‘I See You Baby’ have announced their DJ friends joining them for an electrifying Sunday night. Audiences will be in safe hands with house music legend and hitmaker Dave Lee ZR, who has been a driving force in the house music scene since the late 1980s, Ashley Beedle is a true pioneer, making music since the early 1990s, releasing several albums and singles under his own name, as well as with groups such as X-Press 2 and Ballistic Brothers. A recognisable face on the London music scene, Lou Hayter, the former member of Mercury-nominated electro band New Young Pony Club, will bring her unique blend of electro-pop and Raw Silk, an ode to best pals Grace and Steph’s favourite 80s boogie groups will ensure grooves and dancefloor hits a plenty.

Live At The Palace will also return on 28-30 July with artists such as OMD, Emeli Sandé, UB40 feat. Ali Campbell, Sinéad Harnett, Lady Blackbird, Blancmange and many more. Robomagic Live is thrilled to be hosting this incredible line-up of talent.
