Global pop icon David Guetta has unveiled a massive new Miss Monique remix of his recent smash single ‘I Don’t Wanna Wait’ with Grammy-nominated OneRepublic, out today on Friday 24th May.

With the original having raced to 133 million streams and counting since its release last month, the new party-rousing remix by Ukrainian producer Miss Monique picks up the torch and carries on the good vibes with a bass-heavy, crowd-pleasing rework of ‘I Don’t Wanna Wait’.

Miss Monique is a Ukrainian DJ, producer and label owner who’s a YouTube, clubland and streaming phenomenon, with over 200 million cumulative views, almost 800,000 monthly Spotify listeners, and her own progressive record label Sonia Records.

The DJ and label owner’s version follows the recent hardcore remix by Dutch Big Room legend Hardwell and UK producer Olly James as this smash hit continues to find thrilling new incarnations.

David Guetta and OneRepublic’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Wait’ has become yet another global smash for the French icon – hardly a surprise given its euphoric chorus, infectious melodies and 3x Grammy winning OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder’s unmistakeable vocals on the poignant verses. Now up to 133M global streams and climbing, ‘I Don’t Wanna Wait’ has held the #1 spot on Shazam’s UK Dance Chart for over a week, hit a peak of #19 on the OCC, landed at #1 in the Music Week Pop Chart (David’s 47th #1 on the chart) as well as charting on the Global Spotify Charts in 27 markets and hitting the Top 50 across 10 markets. Its official music video, set against the sun-drenched backdrop of Miami and featuring footage from his huge Ultra Miami premiere of the track, has just broken20 million views from combined uploads.

The track has also been added to Spotify flagship playlists such as The Bop List, Massive Dance Hits, Power Hour, Summer Hits UK, It’s Hits Norway, It’s Hits Sweden, Top Hits NL and Hot Hits BE, broken into the top 20 across European airplay, and reached a peak of #23 on global Shazam, with TikTok creations up to 286K and climbing.

Continuing his dominant live schedule, Guetta has also just announced a new Monolith live date in France at the Orange Velodrome for 21st June 2025, following the success of his AlUla live show on Youtube in March.

With a string of singles and collabs already under his belt, 2024 sees David Guetta picking up where he left off last year. 2023 included ‘Baby Don’t Hurt Me’ with pop megastars Anne-Marie and Coi Leray, which has earned over 700 million streams as the follow-up to Spotify global #1 and streaming monster, ‘I’m Good (Blue)’. The hit Bebe Rexha collaboration earned Guetta his eleventh Grammy nomination, receiving a nod for ‘Best Dance/Electronic Recording’, garnered 2.7 billion global streams, charted at #1 on the official charts across 11 markets, and peaked at #1 at US Top 40 & US Dance Radio charts.
