GEØVHÄN is gracing Sol Selectas with a three-track release titled Tesoro that sits between deep house and indie dance.
Living in Argentina, GEØVHÄN is a multi-talented musician who makes electronic music spanning a range of styles. His tracks are a melting pot of different genres, but they normally have a melodic flow with a mid-tempo.
This is GEØVHÄN’s first solo EP on Sol Selectas, but he is no stranger to the record label, having already featured on two of the record label’s Summer Sol compilations. His catalogue also includes releases on other labels such as DAYS like NIGHTS, Akbal Music, and Rebellion der Traumer.
“Takita” is the opening track, and it combines vocal chants with rising pads and rainforest atmospherics that give its melodic groove a tropical feel. “Tabla” has a grand sound with shuffling drum rhythms wrapped around a soaring arpeggio line. “Timbu” is a wonky track with warping stabs and mesmerising vocals stretched over techy percussion.
