Danish DJ and producer HEDEGAARD raises the bar once again with the official music video for his recent hit single ‘badboysound’, set to premiere on Spinnin’ Records’ YouTube channel this Wednesday at 2pm CEST.
Produced by newly established Copenhagen-based creative team Viisuals.dk, the video fuses cutting-edge AI-generated imagery with striking real-life footage, resulting in a seamless, hyper-stylised look that pushes the boundaries of modern music video production. The narrative dives into the grit and tension of street life, exploring fast moving, cinematic themes, while weaving a high-octane, cinematic storyline.
The story follows our protagonist, Joshua the Boxer, as he weaves his way through the underside of the city, carrying out various illicit ventures in the dark on the behalf of a crime boss, in a presentation with enough technical filmmaking prowess to make it feel like a full-scale Hollywood production.
The output follows on from the previous OneHundred collaboration on THE MADNESS, and once again puts the label at the forefront of AI music video production. With the second output, the label continues to champion more than just cool visuals, instead producing blockbuster style short-form films for their releases.
