K LSY’s new EP, Les Crepes, diversify from their tech house style to showcase the techno side of their sound.
The Italian duo has been making waves with feel-good productions that combine catchy vocals, beefy basslines, chunky drums, and infectious melodies.
New kids on the block, K LSY made their debut release towards the end of 2024, but are already building an impressive catalogue. This release comes from Mantide, and it’s their third time working with the record label.
The release opens with the peak time techno groove of “Step On,” which has a pulsating bass, and boisterous vocals layered over a pounding kick drum. Acid flickers and stabbing chords add to the in-your-face energy of this slamming track.
On the flip-side, “Les Crepes” has sensual French vocals and rising acid tones, stretched over tough percussion and an electro-tinged bassline. It’s an up-tempo tech house track, which takes the elements that define K LSY’s style, and boosts the BPM to give it maximum impact on the dance floor.
