Kelly Cappuccio

Kelly Cappuccio collaborates with saxophonist Ernesto Dolvi on new soulful house single, “Not Again”

Vikthor’s record label, VKT, has a change of pace with its new single by Kelly Cappuccio, which is a soulful house track with a feel-good energy.

Moving away from the peak time techno style that VKT had been known for, Kelly Cappuccio’s new track “Not Again” has a mid-range tempo, layering soulful vocals and live saxophone with throbbing bass tones.

It’s the second time that Kelly Cappuccio has featured on VKT. She is an Italian artist who’s well established within Naples and the surrounding areas.

Kelly Cappuccio plays regularly at underground parties, where she expresses an eclectic style, incorporating everything from Chicago house to tech house.

“Not Again” has a strong Chicago house influence, augmented by the live saxophone played by Ernesto Dolvi.

After a percussive intro the vocal is teased, and guitar chords fade in, then it’s not long before saxophone flurries fill the groove with uplifting energy.

The single’s defining feature is the sassy female vocal, which sings of unwanted male attention, with an underlying message of female empowerment.
