Luca Morris has released his new ‘Ghiaccio’ EP via Clif Jack’s record label MJA the Vision, and it features two of his driving techno tracks.

Hailing from the city of Rovigo in Italy, it’s a master crafted techno release that showcases why Luca Morris’ music has also been released by Monika Kruse’s Terminal M amongst other highly regarded record labels.

This is only the 4th release from MJA the Vision, and it is one of the record label’s strongest offerings to date. Many of the label’s other releases have had a hard lead track and a slightly deeper B-side, but this release starts hard, then gets harder.

The title track, “Ghiaccio,” is a stimulating blend of sensual vocals and aggressive synth bursts that build toward the breakbeat percussion of the breakdown. It has a dark atmosphere and unrelenting energy that makes it perfect for creating tension on the dance floor.

“Cara Cara” is the thundering track on the B-side, and it’s built around hammering percussion pushed forth by the pulsating rhythm of the bassline. Its rumbling low-end and bursts of acid are joined by a stabbing melody line that completes the frenzied groove. There are also the mysterious vocals of the breakdown, which add to the suspense-building section before the drums are unleashed once more.

Some of the DJs already showing their support include the likes of Space 92, Nicole Moudaber and Mauro Picotto.
