Two chart-topping dance-pop stars collide as MK drops a rave-ready remix of Jonas Blue’s hit, ‘100 Lives’, featuring Eyelar, out on 6th September via Positiva.

Producer, DJ and remixer Marc Kinchen – with over 8 million monthly Spotify streams – puts a deeper spin on ‘100 Lives’, tightening Eyelar’s huge vocal to a revolving, groovy loop, chucking into raw machine-made drums, ramping up the tempo and pairing the original’s anthemic piano stabs with a typically MK-esque deep house FM synth stab.

Released in July, ‘100 Lives’ is the latest dance-pop delivery from UK-born chart-conquering producer, Jonas Blue, who gathers over 17M Spotify streams monthly. What started as a poppy piano instrumental inspired by a Robbie Williams documentary, soon became a massive track about two soulmates staying by one another’s side through thick and thin, vowing to “live 100 lives” together.

MK’s remix arrives during a manic two years for the Detroit-born producer. In 2023, he worked with fellow pop-house king Sonny Fodera and vocalist Clementine Douglas on the single ‘Asking’, which racked up over 100M streams and reached #7 in the UK Singles Chart. This followed his wild collab with Dom Dolla, ‘Rhyme Dust’ (100M+ streams), and was preceded by the stupendously catchy Rita Ora and Joel Corry collab, ‘Drinkin’’. A serial remix hitmaker as well as prolific solo producer, Kinchen has in the last two years remixed everyone from Bebe Rexha to Paul Johnson to Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding, Jess Glynne and Jack Harlow (and many more).

Kinchen has always been a hitmaker. Head of record label Area10, he first rose to prominence in the ’90s with influential house tracks like ‘Always’, ‘Burning’, and his work under the alias 4th Measure Men, including ‘4 You’ and ‘Just A Dream’. His remix of Nightcrawlers’ ‘Push The Feeling On’ became iconic, helping put the group on the map. In 2013, MK’s remix of Storm Queen’s ‘Look Right Through’ reached #1 on the UK Singles Chart, followed by his Ibiza anthem remix of ‘My Head Is A Jungle’ in 2014. He continued with platinum hits ‘Piece of Me’ with Becky Hill and ‘17’, which has over 120M Spotify streams.

As of late, Essex-born Jonas Blue has also maintained his status as the GOAT of dance-pop. In January, he released ‘Rest Of My Life’, a trance-inspired track under his new alias, Endless Summer, with Sam Feldt, following their success with ‘Crying On The Dancefloor’, now boasting over 200 million streams. In May, he teamed up with Galantis and Zoe Wees for the single ‘Mountains’, later released in an acoustic version and remixed by Eden Prince, Mollie Collins, and KC Lights. In July, Jonas remixed iconic Brazilian popstar Anitta’s track ‘Aceita’, flexing percussive Latin vibes.

With over 22 billion streams, 90 million single sales, five Brit Award nominations, and 130+ platinum certifications globally, Jonas Blue is a certified pop powerhouse. His biggest hits include ‘Fast Car’ and ‘Perfect Strangers’, both with over a billion streams, along with ‘Mama’, ‘Rise’, ‘Alien’ featuring Sabrina Carpenter, and ‘Back & Forth’ with, again, MK and the mighty Becky Hill.

An essential for DJs, MK’s signature touch on ‘100 Lives’ by Jonas Blue retains the original’s catchiness but gives it an extra punch that’s perfect for big systems.
