Following his recent release ‘On My Mind’, Swiss production powerhouse EDX demands attention with another masterful production in the form of ‘Don’t Be Afraid’, featuring NY-based singer Allie Crystal – out now on Spinnin’ Records.

Opening with Allie’s soothing vocals, EDX blends intricate percussion and airy pads to enter a mesmerising soundscape. Calling upon undulating synths and piano chords, the track builds gradually before whisking the listener away with a deep, dance-ready bassline. Showcasing his expert ability to captivate audiences through a variety of sonic textures, this scintillating track finds a perfect balance between dark and light elements, and adds yet another timeless creation to EDX’s outstanding back catalogue. With early support from Martin Garrix, Vintage Culture, Maurice West, Oliver Heldens and many more, ‘Don’t Be Afraid’ is destined to take the dance music world by storm.

One of the most dedicated, hard-working characters in the industry, Grammy-nominated DJ, producer and label head, EDX, has spent almost three decades at the forefront of electronic music. Responsible for some of the globe’s most adored dance anthems, including his chart-topping edits of Sam Feldt’s ‘Show Me Love’ and Robin Schulz’s ‘Sugar’, EDX amasses over 2.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. His ‘NoXcuses’ radio show on iHeart (formerly on SiriusXM’s Electric Area) is currently broadcast to over 40 countries twice a week. With an international touring schedule that regularly sees him cross multiple countries and continents each week, he consistently performs at the most esteemed festivals on the global circuit and has held residencies at some of the world’s most iconic clubs, including his upcoming residency at TAO Las Vegas. Replete with creative aspiration, and with much more music in the pipeline due to drop this year, EDX grabs another year by the horns and makes us dance for all it’s worth.
