Nick Acid releases powerful peak time techno single, ‘3.0.3
Nick Acid presents a stomping techno single titled “3.0.3.” which has been taking dance floors by storm with its beefy percussion and distinctive vocals.
Based in Germany, Nick Acid has released music for many years under a number of aliases, and his style ranges from slamming techno to hard dance. He has a passion for energetic music that gets the dance floor moving, and his DJ sets are known to work the dance floor into a frenzy.
3.0.3. is a track that has similarities to classic anthems such as Thomas Schumacher’s “When I Rock” or Frankie Bones “Call It Techno”, as it utilises a commanding vocal as the track’s defining feature. The pounding percussion and accompanying synths of the backing track create a vigorous energy that adds to the upbeat vibe of the vocal.
This single comes via Nick Acid’s record label Neptun Records, but he has also worked with other respected outlets such as T78’s Autektone and HQN Recordings.
3.0.3. has a thumping kick drum and acid bassline as the foundation of its groove, and the vocal about the DJ working the crowd with skill adds to the unfolding tension. The breakdown sections also add an old-school flavour with breakbeat rhythms, and the second breakdown lets the acid synths off the leash before breaking into a triplet section of the groove.
