Perfect Havoc Unveils New T. Matthias and Alfie Cridland Single ‘Fall Again’
UK producers T. Matthias and Alfie Cridland have teamed up for the release of new single ‘Fall Again’, featuring the distinctive vocals of Brit School alumni, ALIMISH. Released on Cridland’s label home; the leading London-indie Perfect Havoc on 16 February, there’s already hype for the arrival of this upbeat dance track with support on BBC Introducing Wales and almost 300k plays across Soundcloud and TikTok. London-based artist T. Matthias is best known for the 2021 single ‘Goodbye’ – a collaboration with certified chart-topper Nathan Dawe that went on to peak at No. 1 on the iTunes Dance Chart. T’s official house remixes of hit songs for artists such as Yungen, Not3s and Yxng Bane, and a series of signings to the taste making Selected label, have now generated over 40 million streams. Both a credible DJ and producer, T has much more up his sleeve with original materials prepped to drop in 2024.
Along with rising star, Alfie Cridland, the pair set out to create a summery house track with ‘Fall Again’. While its narrative is about falling in love, ‘Fall Again’ is a bouncy affair, packing in 134bpms and a donk bassline that is guaranteed to get dancefloors shaking.
For breaking talent, Alfie Cridland, he’s a selector and producer of all things electronic, spinning sets of commercial house, R&B and hip hop from Ministry of Sound, London to the shores of Zante. Cridland’s clever mash ups and skillset in cross-genre mixing was the very reason he won over Nathan Dawe, taking first place in Dawe’s 2017 competition to find the next generation in DJ talent to accompany him on tour.
Since then, Cridland’s journey into production has produced a string of singles on Perfect Havoc, including his debut ‘Last Day In Paradise’ alongside Paul Kaye, which hit No. 2 in the iTunes Dance Chart. And his most prominent to date, the 2020 single ‘New Levels’ with Tobtok and Milwin. It’s now been streamed over 20 million times, spun 49 times on BBC Radio 1 – where it was also made Tune Of The Week – and synced on numerous primetime TV shows.
The pair join on this new single with South Wales singer, songwriter and producer, ALIMISH. Her catchy hooks and electric live performances have led to her becoming a BBC Welsh A-List artist and labelled “one to watch” by KISS FM’s Freddie Smith. With widespread appeal, ALIMISH’s releases have been picked up by such renowned labels as Selected, One Seven Music and Toolroom and graced the grand stage of the Abu Dhabi Formula 1. With 2024 marked for the release of a solo project, exciting times lie ahead for ALIMISH.
