Recondite continues his Indifferent Series with the brooding new single Dust
Recondite continues his innovative one track at a time release schedule with ‘Dust,’ a fourth instalment in the project on his own Plangent Records.
The revered techno innovator has launched his “The Indifferent Series” in 2023, which has proven a fine platform for his own constant artistic outpourings. This year he continues to focus on the music itself, releasing one track at a time, all of which slowly build up a complex picture of his current style and will result in a 10-track album at the end of the process. Responses so far have been great, with his tracks finding their way into many taste-making record bags and this new one will be no different.
“Dust” is a weighty and potent cut that brings real tension and drama to the dance floor. It has a moody atmosphere to start with, as melancholic leads ring out over the grooves before frazzled chords take things up a level. After the enthralling crescendo and raw snare loops, the drums kick once more and carry you away on a rueful vibe.
This is another superb entry into this vital series from Recondite.
