Gain Records wastes no time in starting its 2025 schedule with a techno EP called Nobody House by record label regular, Roberto Pagliaccia. It features two original tracks from Roberto Pagliaccia, and an awe-inspiring remix by Mark Reeve.

Roberto Pagliaccia is an Italian native who makes music ranging from tech house to techno, and this tension building release has robust percussion and acid synth lines making hard-hitting grooves. It’s his sixth time featuring on Gain Records, and both tracks have slick production that’s ideal for a club sound system.

The remix by Mark Reeve will likely be what draws many people’s attention to this release, as he is one of techno’s most respected producers. For over a decade he has been at the top of the techno scene, often releasing his music on record labels such as Drumcode and Terminal M.

“Nobody House” is the release’s title track, and it has a chic vocal with inspirational lyrics about believing in yourself. That message is augmented by the forward-momentum of the track’s energy, which stops for nothing as the tension ramps up, and the pounding drums pair with a rumbling bassline laying a foundation for acid synths and tense pads.

Mark Reeve’s remix of “Nobody House” is a stripped back version with a thickened bassline and beefed-up kick drum that gives his rework extra punch while staying true to the original.

“Happen Illusion” is the second original and it has a tech house style kick and clap rhythm that’s been pitched up to a techno tempo. Soulful vocals and intense pads add to a throbbing bassline and acid stabs as the ferocious groove delivers a peak time energy.
