Rounding off a stellar 2023, Switch Disco share their highly anticipated ‘Vacancy’ EP
After dominating the dance scene in 2023, mashup masters Switch Disco are ending the year on a high, with their 4-track EP ‘Vacancy’, dropping December 15th via Relentless Records. The EP contains their mega successful Ella Henderson collaboration ‘React’, alongside new releases ‘Vacancy’ and ‘Ease My Mind’, topping it all off with a brand new gem ‘What You Want’.
Emotionally uplifting dance anthem ‘Vacancy’ opens the EP perfectly, setting the tone for a high octane journey. The soaring track leads seamlessly into the rousing, uptempo anthem ‘Ease My Mind’, which sees Switch Disco build the perfect sing-along belter. Next we’re transported to the dancefloor with feel-good banger ‘What You Want’, delivering a pulsing bassline and unforgettable earworm chorus. Finally, the duo wrap up their euphoric project with the astronomic hit ‘React’ with Ella Henderson.
‘React’ peaked at #4 in the UK Official Charts this year, spending a total of 10 weeks in the UK Official Charts ‘Top 10’ and 19 weeks in the ‘Top 40’. The track now ranks as the UK’s #2nd biggest dance track released this year so far, the #6th biggest track released in 2023 and 18th biggest track of the year so far overall. The early summer banger has also been taking over the airwaves in recent months, placing #13 in UK radio airplay, #5 on Kiss, #19 on Capital, #36 on BBC Radio 1, and #3 on Hits UK.
This two man DJ / producer team have been working alongside each other for almost 10 years, since their individual careers in the British and Greek music scenes collided together, resulting in a truly unique creative partnership. This summer has been their biggest ever with a 21 week residency at Ibiza Rocks in addition to multiple shows a week across Europe and the US. Signed to Sony UK’s Relentless Records after going viral with their Bicep and Nelly Furtado mashup in late 2020, their edits are soundtracking hundreds of thousands of TikToks and Instagram reels across the world, as well as being supported by some of the best DJs in the dance music scene.
