What other hobbies do you usually get up to or would like to try?
I like running and sport, track days, watching & attending F1 events, and reading a book on a beach is pretty perfect. Lazy Sundays with a roast. Probably beef.
Where is your favorite place to go for food?
there are a few Argentinian steak houses in London called Gaucho – they are serious business if you’re into steak. There is also a local burrito bar called Mexigo – love their stuff.
What can always put you in a good mood no matter what?
Ice cold bottle of Peroni normally does the trick accompanied by some banging dance music.
Do you have a favorite sports team? If so, who?
I actually love playing Volleyball – I got a net last year and make the family play every time we have a gathering. It gets a bit competitive. On holiday on a beach is best.
How would you describe your perfect weekend?
A nice chilled Friday night after work, a decent meal and a few beers, maybe a film. Saturday get all the chores out of the way and then have a banger, in or out Saturday late afternoon/evening. Sunday chilled roast and watch F1.
If you could invite x3 people to dinner, dead or alive, who would they be and why?
Michael Evis the organizer of Glastonbury because I reckon he’s seen a thing or two. Paul Oakenfold because he’s been around for the whole dance music journey and Nelson Mandela because he was an interesting guy with a lot of humility.
If you could start over, what career would you love to have?
(other than music) – F1 racing driver, no doubt.
Who would you love to trade lives with for a day?
Anyone playing the main stage at Tomorrowland – 2hr set please at peak time.
Do you have any weird traditions or superstitions?
if I think of something bad that might happen, I then stop myself even considering that again or I tell myself it will happen, so I basically end up ignoring it, even if it flicks into my mind for a second it gets booted out again. Bit like when you avoided treading on the gaps in paving slabs when you were a kid or the bears would get you. Like an adult version of that maybe.
Lastly, what one thing would you take with you to a desert island?
I’d better say the girlfriend, hadn’t I? Perhaps she could have a small laptop with a copy of Ableton on it in her handbag though (“,) Did I mention the next single R3lease is out 1st September? I did? Ah, good.
