GABRY PONTE SENDS TREMORS INTO THE UNDERGROUND WITH SLAMMING TECHNO COMPILATION PENTAPHONIA LAB VOL.1
Inspired by a life-long infatuation with underground club culture and an innate desire to disrupt the status quo, DJ and producer Gabry Ponte launched PENTAPHONIA Records to serve those who dare to dance on the harder side. Following a string of foundational singles on the imprint since inception in 2024, head honcho Gabry Ponte now solidifies the sonic direction with PENTAPHONIA LAB Vol.1, the debut label compilation.
The four-track EP opens on ‘Discotek,’ where Gabry reunites with fellow Italian and ‘Thunder’ collaborator Prezioso for another body-jacking release ready to rock the mainstage with exaggerated filters and explosive drops. Followed by ‘Bass, Beats & Melody,’ a fierce remix of Brooklyn Bounce’s turn-of-the-century hit. At the hands of Gabry Ponte, the unmistakable hook of the 00s club heater is thrust into a soundscape of heart-racing techno beats, razor-sharp synths and a relentless tempo switch-up.
Moving forward, ‘Techno Slaves’ with Julian DJ is astraight four-to-the-four techno masterpiece that is sure tosend shockwaves across the dancefloor. All before Gabry introduces an effortlessly cool aura on ‘Gangsta’ which is a club-first banger with ebbs of a hip-hop vocal cut to spark maximum curiosity and close out the EP.
Landing with immediate impact, the EP was first teased in the launch of new label mix series ‘PENTAPHONIA Presents,’ hosted exclusively on Soundcloud. A surprise mix drop from Gabry Ponte himself kickstarts the series which plans to showcase the full talents of future signees and guest DJs.
