The record-scratching tunesmith returns with a new dance floor weapon
London/Manchester-based DJ and producer Pimlican is back with a bang on ‘Preach’, his new single out 2nd February on his own label Belgrave Road Records.
Pimlican’s latest club weapon ‘Preach’ is built around a killer house groove full of rasping hats, bright funky guitar and shimmering synth effects. The track’s soulful vocal provides the hook, while Pimlican’s signature record scratching skills provide the flair. Already turning heads with a spot on BBC Introducing Manchester, ‘Preach’ is set to be a killer addition to this eclectic selector’s dancefloor arsenal.
Pimlican is a London/Manchester based artist / DJ and producer who has had tracks played on Radio 6 Music, Capital Xtra, and Kiss FM amongst others. He has enjoyed great support from BBC Manchester Introducing as well as being interviewed twice by Radio London about his scratching skills and musical output. He puts his own unique and eclectic stamp on the dance genre with every release, including his 2022 single ‘The Ones’, which recorded over half a million streams across Europe.
With his latest single, Pimlican continues to find the sweet spot between club weapons and smooth dance grooves. ‘Preach’ is the sound of a master craftsman in his absolute element.
