Rising indie-pop artist Rosanna Unveils Debut EP “Restless”
Indie pop sensation Rosanna is set to captivate audiences with the release of her debut EP, “Restless”, featuring the previously acclaimed singles “What it takes to leave” and “Need You to Stay”, now amassing over 50,000 streams collectively. The EP, a celebration of Rosanna’s shapeshifting songwriting, is a compelling blend of shimmering synth pop, folk and indie, exploring themes of love, heartbreak and resurrection.
“Restless” introduces brand new tracks, including the anthemic 80s-inspired “Pennies” and the stunningly ethereal folk-pop piece, “June Rain”, written during the lockdown. Produced by Alexander Comana (Miedototal) and mastered at the iconic Abbey Road Studios, “Restless” promises a sonic journey that mirrors Rosanna’s influences, ranging from Joni Mitchell and Kate Bush to contemporary alt-pop stars like MUNA.
Rosanna expresses her excitement about the EP, stating, “I’ve always felt restless, not knowing if I’m doing things right. This EP is a collection of songs I’m really proud of, and with it, I wanted to celebrate the eclectic nature of my songwriting, which is itself restless, constantly in flux.”
