TACTICS revives a 90s classic on high octaneBassline banger ‘Crazy For You’
Bad Boy Chiller Crew’s official producer comes through with a banger under his own name
Rising UK producer TACTICS brings the 90s emphatically to the modern dancefloor with his new single ‘Crazy For You’, out on 3rd November via Relentless Records.
‘Crazy For You’ is a high energy Bassline cover of 1994 classic ‘Crazy For You’ by Let Loose. Spinning the original’s nostalgic piano and iconic vocal melodies into an uptempo dance anthem, TACTICS more than proves his production chops on this new crowd pleaser.
Hailing from Bradford in the North of England, TACTICS is the up-and-coming producer behind Bad Boy Chiller Crew’s ‘BMW’, which peaked at #7 in the UK Charts, and much of their upcoming album. He’s currently gearing up to release more original music, ahead of what promises to be an exciting year.
His signature sound comes from a mix of influences. As a kid, TACTICS grew up on Sidewinder Garage packs (Pay As U Go Cartel, So Solid Crew, Heartless Crew, DJ Luck & MC Neat). He discovered his love for bassline through DJs like Chris Lorenzo and collecting Classic Organ House vinyl (Robin S, DJ Antoine). TACTICS had a clear passion for music, but production wasn’t always the obvious career choice. TACTICS served in the army, making music as a hobby, so he could have secret weapons of his own. He cites hit-makers Scott Storch, Max Martin, Dr. Dre and Pharrell as inspirations. After TACTICS left the military, he enrolled at Point Blank Music School, honing his craft with tutor, Shadow Child. The rest is history.
Expanding his sphere of influence, TACTICS is also the executive producer of the Bad Boy Chiller Crew’s new album Influential, which comes out on 10th November.
With his signature bassline sound and undeniable talent as a producer, TACTICS continues to make a big impact on the UK scene with ‘Crazy For You’.
