The war in Ukraine hit hard the Trance & Techno music industry

Ukrainian producers alongside with the Russian producers are well-known for producing some of the toppest trance and techno tracks. There are a lot of small and big names that produced some massive hits in the trance music industry.
We spoke with some labels and it’s very noticeable that there were almost zero demos from the day that the war began. Also, demos from Russian producers are limited too.
Two sister countries are in war for political reasons and it’s the worst example of humanity. The war broke out on 24 February 2022, Russia launched a large-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The situation is really hard for artists and labels based in Ukraine at the moment. Let’s hope to see the war ending soon.
