Hey NATHASSIA, great to hear from you. How are you?

Good and thank you for asking.

First off, tell us about the story behind ‘Lair’?

Lair was created from my fascination for the Black Widow spider that devours its male mate, hence the name! It also made me think about a femme fatale luring a lover into her lair using seduction and how the feeling is wholly irresistible! Obviously in real life I would never eat a boyfriend!

What has the reaction been like?

Incredible, especially getting early support from the likes of David Guetta, Tiësto, Kryder, Maurice West and being a No. 1 Beatport release.

How did you come to work with The Futuristic Polar Bears?

I had supported a few of their tracks in my radio show and we had been messaging so I suggested the remix and thankfully they really loved the song.

How would you compare the track to some of your other releases?

It is my favourite release to date so I am really pleased.

Who would you like to see supporting the release? 

Luckily I have had the dream support already, so I feel very blessed.

How has your musical style developed over the past year? 

In so many ways, I am learning more every day, but I like to think my music is improving and on an upward curve.

Do you have a favourite section of the tune? 

The part that repeats “Lai-ai-ai-ai-air”

What other projects are you working on at the moment?

I am close to finishing off my artist album, working on a possible collab with the Futuristic Polar Bears and of course my Goddess Is A DJ weekly radio show.
